He is surprised to discover that he was sitting beside his colleague at the match but hadn't realised because of the fog. They agree that it was the best game they ever heard. Refers to the Super 14 final held in Christchurch 27 May, in which the Crusaders defeated the Hurricanes 19 to 12.
