Description: Map of Okiato, Bay of Islands, Sheet No. 2 which includes the location of the stockades, positions of two stockade trenches, the location of buildings both within and without of the stockade and a track. Reference is made to Mrs. Clendon's rose bushes. Includes examples of calligraphy which are unrelated to the map, and the typeface to be used in printing this page in the publication. Redrawn by C.N. Description: Map of Okiato, Bay of Islands showing the traces of old Russell visible in 1943, an enlarged version of Pipiroa Bay old camp. Includes the location of the stockades, positions of two stockade trenches, buildings, both within and without the stockade, and a track. The foundations of Govt. House and the Gaol are indicated. Archaeological sites are drawn and the finds at each spot are listed. Reference is made to Mrs. Clendon's rose bushes, Clendon's store and Clendon's Road. Includes historical evidence of past events and a note records L.E. Schmidt's sighting of sills of the jetty. Survey by John R. Lee and redrawn by C.N.
