Places visited include: the Royal New Zealand Air Force at Wigram airport, Canterbury University, the view over Lyall Bay from Truby King's house, Dunedin war memorial and the war memorial at Waitaki Boys' High School, Government House in Wellington. Description: A collection of postcards and printed views (possibly from a magazine) of New Zealand scenes primarily of towns and cities rather than scenic views. They include one of two Maori women washing clothes at Rotorua, another of the Royal visit in 1927 and a family group of seven men and three women possibly taken in Belfast. A number of the postcards have been used. Also included are five original photographs which have been captioned with the family connections: a soldier in uniform, possibly named Ralph Ferguson; Uncle Henry Babe's wedding photograph; cousin Violet Bradford in America; Albert and Elizabeth (Eliza) Babe (brother and sister) and four others; Thomas and Fanny Babe (grandpa and grandma) with Eliza, Harold, Albert, Olivia, Queenie and Gladys. Description: Panoramic view showing an angled view of the Tarawera Hot Springs Hotel, a two-storeyed wooden building. There is a fire escape on the corrugated iron side wall on the right leading down from upstairs windows. Verandahs along the front, seen on the left angle; gas lamp in a corner of the upstairs verandah. Driveway from the right, and there are two young women sitting on a lawn with a car [number plate: WN-1949] parked between them and the hotel. Six people are standing out the front, two of them women (one of whom is holding a small dog or cat in her arms). Man on a horse has two dogs beside him in the centre of the image. Steep scrub-covered hillside on the far right. Direction sign to the baths is seen between macrocarpa trees on the far left. Taken by Robert Percy Moore.
