Description: A pamphlet issued to celebrate 21 years of Midland bus service on the Methven run. Laugeson & Son purchased the service in 1929 from Mr Ray Grubb who had operated the run with a 15-seater Republic bus from 1923. There are photographs of the 1923 Republic bus with Mr R R Grubb standing beside it, the 1929 Minerva 15-seater, the 1930 Thornycroft 16-seater, the 1937 Bedford 29-seater and the 1950 Leyland-Comet 29-seater. Describes the special features of the Leyland Comet; and describes the good reputation of busdrivers Campbell McPhail and Noel Direen. Quantity: 1 colour photo-mechanical print(s).
