Includes cartoons about the "Brain Drain", Ken Douglas and the F.O.L., 1980 world opinion about the South African rugby tour, Venn Young and Duncan McIntyre talk about marginal agriculture, Bruce Beetham's (Social Credit Party leader) star on the rise, selling Twizel, Ben Couch stabs himself with his own opinions, the Clyde dam, Beetham lectures on political opportunism vs the Courts, Israel's defence policies, the competition for the Labour leadership, the butter mountain, black outlook except for cricket, David Lange and Geoffrey Palmer the New Adventurers, the loopholes in the Transport Act, breath-testing drivers, Ben's couch (Ben Couch's couch), the savage game of politics played on a rugby field, Andy Haden's case before the Rugby Union. The French government was reluctant to acknowledge and apologise for its role in the bombing of the Greenpeace vessel Rainbow Warrior which was tied up at the Princes Wharf in Auckland, New Zealand on 10 July 1985.
