Description: Cartoon made during the Queen's visit to New Zealand in March 1970, shows a steamship bedecked with flags, sailing on a clear "carpet" of water between flotillas of small yachts and motorboats. Rangitoto Island can be seen in the right distance. Note from the New Zealand History website http://www.nzhistory.net.nz/, retrieved 4 June 2010: "12-30 March, 1970: The Queen participated in the James Cook bicentenary celebrations and introduced Prince Charles and Princess Anne to New Zealand".
