Description: A view of the waterfront at Kawhia, Waikato region, with St Elmo boarding house in the foreground. Includes a cliff at each end of the inlet and houses around the harbour. At the far end amongst some houses is a large Norfolk Pine tree. The two storey building immediately behind the Norfolk pine had a business on the ground floor and a hall above which was called Scott's Hall. Photograph taken between 1908-1915 by Jonathan Ltd. August 2022, researcher provided information about the two storey building immediately behind the Norfolk pine It was built in 1903. and later became known as Ward's Hall and was used as a cinema from about 1914 to the early 1950s.
