The architect was Stephen Bowers of Sydney, the landscape architect was Paddy Baxter of Queenstown, and the interior designer was Dinah Malyon of Auckland (all are pictured). A restaurant complex and conference centre were to provide facilities for guests, with petanque ground, beautician, sauna room, computer games room, bar, gymnasium, outdoor pool, tennis courts.
