Description: Shows a view of Petone Railway Station, with railway tracks in the foreground, and a train pulled up beside the station building. On the right is a memorial flagpole, said to have been first used in 1916. The flagpole at the right of the picture is said to have been first used on Anzac Day 1916 when the Prime Minister unfurled and Australian flag presented to the railwaymen of New Zealand by the railwaymen of New South Wales.
