Description: A programme for the variety show to be held in Dunedin. The Miss Universe Beauty pageant Association had its headquarters in New York. The booklet contains an itinerary for the successful New Zealand winner. A photograph of the six Otago finalists is included (Maidie Hunt, Pamela Currie, Margaret Botting, Lynne Green, Zeta Elder and Elaine Ovens). The winner Margaret Ruth Botting is also shown in a separate photograph. Description: Post advertising the St. Mortiz Skaters act at the Evans Bay Fair. Shows a roller-skating couple holding hands, with the woman in a flattened and contorted pose in the foreground, and the man in a half-kneel at the right. Text panel reports that they had performed before His Majesty King Edward VIII, Queen Mary, and His Late Majesty King George V at the London Hippodrome.
