Description: Studio portrait of an unidentified girl and a young women (possibly sisters) sitting on a mat in front of a scenic backdrop. They are wearing traditional Maori clothing. They hold Maori weapons: on the left, a patu and on the right, a tewhatewha. The young woman is wearing a huia tail feather behind each ear; the young girl is wearing a piupiu.
