Description: Photographs taken ca 1899-1946 by Albert Percy Godber (1875-1949), railway employee and amateur photographer. The collection comprises photographs of railways, timber industry, Maori art, and general views throughout New Zealand. It features a considerable number of views of Petone, where the Godber family lived for many years, and of the railway workshops at Petone and Hillside.
