Description: Front cover shows a photograph of the [Levin?] Peace Memorial Gates, enclosed in a border with a crown at the top and crosses at the four corners. Inside is a roll of honour of about 100 men, and individual photographic portraits of eight of them (Private E R Nicholson, Private Mills, Private Fred Hughes, Private R Blunden, Lieut T E Davidson, Private Thomas McKain, Private William Laing and Private L W Boulton). Psalm 46 is reproduced, as is a photograph of the Levin Memorial, and a portrait photograph of Mrs Banks who "was personally responsible for the preparation and despatch of 3,700 garments for the needy during the four years of war". The programme fore the opening includes an opening hymn, speech by Mr Thomson Chairman of Weraroa Mardi Gras, a musical number by Miss Thelma Shaw; golde key presentation by Mr L A Bowen of Waipukurau. Premier Massey's speech was to follow, then Psalm 46, prayers addresses and a speech by Mr Linklate, MP. There are photographs of Massey, Viscount Jellicoe, and Miss Joan Bevan, Queen of the Mardi Gras for 1922.
