Description: Souvenir postcard with foldout strip of photographs of Dunedin streets, buildings, parks and beach. To see the photographs, one lifts a flap on the figure of a fashionably-dressed young woman carrying a large flat shoulder bag. The 12 photographic images show: Cathedral and Town Hall; Princes Street, Princes Street looking north; Princes Street looking south; George Street looking north; Rattray Street; Botanical Gardens; St Clair; The Rose Garden; St Clair; Rose Walk Botanical Gardens; St Clair Beach. Quantity: 1 colour photo-mechanical print(s). Physical Description: Photolithographs on card 140 x 90 mm, with foldout strip 430 x 70 mm, folding to 38 x 70 mm. Provenance: Donated by Mrs Diana Unwin, Wellington, in 2008 Transfers: Collection as a whole received into Photographic Archive (PAColl-9185); material transferred to other sections from there.

Description: A booklet, designed for mailing with a space on the front cover for an address, including 16 coloured photographs of Caroline Bay, Dominion and Hydro Grand hotels, the Gardens, Stafford Street, Tennis Courts, the Catholic Church, Marine Parade, the Anglican Church, Alexandra Square, and the lake in the Gardens. Description: Postcards of New Zealand scenes, particularly in the Wellington and Rotorua districts and a few in Oamaru. Also a portrait of an unidentified soldier - a captain of the NZ Artillery, possibly World War I. Images are taken circa 1900-1929. Some photographers are identified: Sydney Charles Smith, Frederick George Radcliffe, Frank Giles Barker, and Robert George Stanley Marsh. Publishing companies include Tanner Bros Ltd, Frank Duncan & Co, and Fleetway Press. Scenes feature landmarks in Wellington and Oamaru, various geothermal scenes at Whakarewarewa, and scenes of Maori life and customs. Also includes single images of harvesting lucerne at Marlborough, Riddiford Gardens, and an unidentified geyser [Waimangu?].
