Description: The price list of an association that aimed to supply goods directly from manufacturer to purchaser, with no charges incurred by middlemen. Purchasers paid an annual fee of 5 shillings for membership of the association. Merchandise included grocieries, drapery, shirts, boots & shoes, stationery, earthenware, ironmongery, coals and wood, jewellery, baskets, chemicals (drugs & medicines), and pianos. Quantity: 1 booklet. Physical Description: Letterpress on pages of booklet of 38 pages, each 217 x 142 mm. Provenance: Purchased from New Zealand Book Auctions postal auction, November 2004, lot 146.
