Artist assumed to be Dr Henry Thomas Spratt, rather than his son Henry Howell Spratt. See Cyclopedia of New Zealand, Volume 1, Wellington, page 884. Boxed with two sketchbooks by Jock McEwen. There is no connection with this sketchbook and the Jock McEwen sketchbooks Inscriptions: Album page - [Inside front cover]: Dr Spratt / Greytown W. Quantity: 1 sketchbook(s).
