Note received from Anah Dunsheath reads: :Ponsonby: An original plan of Ponsonby Highway District ca 1870. 92 x 115 cm. Executed by W Gulliver, draughtsman. Ponsonby Highway was amalgamated with Auckland District in 1882 and this plan pre-dates this. Gulliver became City Valuer, and held this position until his resignation in 1899.
