Description: Cadastral sketch plan of Seatoun township, Wellington, showing numbered sections, named streets, and names of owners: Owens, ?Murio, Davies, Lickner, Godder (hard to decipher). Some sections have survey markings or show dwellings. Church and military reserves are shown. Some sections are highlighted in pink. Includes several jottings and calculations in pencil or ink. Shows inset of four sections bounded by Marine Parade and Stafford Street. Written on map: Practically all sections 1/4 acres. Corner ones 38 perches. Glued to top right of map: Cutting describing Lot 2 and 3. Thomson & Brown, Auctioners, Hunter Street. Some of the diazo information is very difficult to decipher. Quantity: 1 map(s). Description: Drawn on a published cadastral, surveyed map of sections in Seatoun, Worser Bay, Wellington, the annotations mark sections sold, with names of new owners: Beere, Colonial Bank, Mantell, National Bank, Plimmer, James, Levin, Mantell, Smith, McGuire, Bucholtz, Hodgins, Longhurst, A Barlow, Zoharb, Wrigg, Sidey, Bucholty (names difficult to decipher). The sections are part of the Seatoun Block, I-XXXI (1-31) on streets Marine Parade, Brandon, Stafford, Monro, Hector, Plimmer, Mantell, Pearce, Ludlam, Dundras, Forres, Church, Gore and part of Hay St. Some areas are reserved. Shows Oruaite Park, military reserve and Te Ure o Kupe River. Base map: Township of Seatoun, Watts peninsula [Wellington, N.Z. : R.J. Duncan, 1978].
