This sketchbook contains many of the preliminary sketches for the more finished studio drawings in the Library's two large albums, E-452-f & E-453-f Quantity: 1 sketchbook(s) (33 pencil & watercolour, 15 pencil in album stored with notebook in half blue morocco & linen case). Physical Description: Pencil & watercolour, pencil page size 145 x 223 mm Provenance: Purchased by Alexander Turnbull in May 1913 from Sydney dealers Angus & Robertson, who had purchased this diary and sketchbook from the artist in London, along with the sketches now located at E-452-f and E-453-f.
