Description: Photographs of: a group of men with spades digging for gum amongst kauri trees; a group of Maori men, women and children gathered around the hot pools at Whakarewarewa, with the men are pulling on ropes attached to something in the pool, captioned "`Parekohoro' - Whakarewarewa"; and two photographs, one a close-up, of Seddon and party on a waka. They are captioned "The Premier's Visit to Huntly on the Waikato in the war canoe Taheretikitiki" and "The Premier's Visit to Huntly on board the war canoe on way to King Mahuta's residence Waahi". Photographers were Josiah Martin (using the initials J M) and Beattie & Sanderson.
