Description: Folder comprises application for the Award, and family and farm history including: photocopies of certificates of title for sections of the farm; maps of the area; genealogical tables, copies of photographs, information on family members; timelines for the dairying industry in Karamea; a booklet on the history of the Karamea Co-operative Dairy Company (produced for the 75th jubilee). A copy of `Karamea: a story of success', written by Dulcie Harmon for the Karamea District and School Centennials (1974 and 1975) was included with the application. As there were no annotations in the book it was not retained. A copy is available in the Alexander Turnbull print collection (Call number 993.15HAR 1975) Original owners were Robert McNabb (1893) and Francis (Frank) McNabb (1896). Current owner is Harley Trevor McNabb, great grandson of Robert, and grandson of Francis. Quantity: 1 folder(s).
