Physical Description: Wood engraving, 77 x 102 mm on sheet 150 x 170 mm Provenance: Presented by Allen and Betty Curnow to Douglas Lilburn, composer of music to Allen Curnow's poem 'Landfall in unknown seas'. Printed by Betty Curnow from a printer's block made from her larger original ink drawing of the same scene for the frontispiece in the Review of Canterbury University College, 1943, with title: Illustrations by Bette [sic] Curnow for the Tasman tercentennial poem 'Landfall in unknown seas'.
