Description: Electronic document is a transcription by Gareth Winter of Lars Anderson Schow's memoir. Schow was a Danish settler in Mauriceville. His diary describes his voyage from Hamburg and arrival in Wellington on the `Herschel' (Hertsjel), including a heavy storm and rioting of passengers (1875).
