Description: Map from the Waitemata Harbour to Manukau Harbour showing all major Maori pa sites, villages and land. Shows battle sites and military engagements (unknown origin). Some English names of areas included for example 'One Tree Hill' and 'M[t] Albert, Owhairaka'. Several of the Maori pa sites include names associated with the pa, for example, Moeatoa pa of N. Titiata; Karaka te Aua and N. Tipare; Onehunga pa, Karangahape pa, Te Whau pa, Puketapapa pa and Onewa pa all of Uringutu and Ngaoho; Awhitu, pa of N. Titiata, N. Tamaoho and N. Timahuta; N. Tamaoho's other pa include Pehiakura, Te Toro and Ihumatao. This is a copy of map from the book: New Zealand Native Land Court.
