Description: Contains a volume of photocopied newspaper clippings relating to the 1980 Maori land dispute over the Raglan golf course. Land taken during the Second World War for a military airfield at Raglan was returned to Tainui Awhiro people, but only after a long dispute. Includes instructions from the British Government regarding the alienation by its agents of tribal lands. Also contains a transcript in Maori of Wi Parata vs the Bishop of Wellington and the Attorney General over the alienation of the Whitireia Block belonging to the Ngati Toa iwi.
