The localities are in the Gisborne Region and include Tikitiki, Tuparoa, and Reporua. Specifically, one group of photographs record a rugby match between Tikitiki and Rangitukia schools, and two others show Reporua school children collecting driftwood from the beach and participating in an Arbour Day celebration in 1912. There are a general views of Reporua and Tuparoa and one of Reporua School. Other images are of people grouped in front of unidentified meeting houses.
