Includes a painting of the `Philip Laing' and `John Wickliffe' in Port Chalmers in 1848, painted by D O Robertson in 1898 and photographed by De Maus. Also includes a photograph of Gabriels Gully, Lawrence, in 1862, and later photographs of memorials to Gabriel Read.
