All three pictures can be seen by grasping and pulling the underlying cards at the cut-away spaces at either side of the top ("Arahura") card. Other Titles - Crag The "Arahura" was built in 1905. Description: The steamship "Hororata" in Port Chalmers, Dunedin. Photograph taken by David Alexander De Maus Dated by the date the Hororata was built (1914) Inscriptions: Marginal notes on negative - top right - Hororata Steamship Hororata, of 9178 tons. Built in 1914 by W Denny Bros, Dumbarton. Twin screw steamer. Sold to the BI Company in 1939, renamed Waroonga. Used as a troopship for the Australian Government in WWI, as it had been an immigrant ship, and had accomodation for troops. Torpedoed in 1943 in the North Atlantic.
