Description: Monument dedicated to Tuaiwa Ngatipare, who died 29 January 1909, aged 43, at Raglan. It is a large monument with a winged figure on a pedestal surrounded by an iron fence. There is a door into the monument beneath the inscription. Taken 1 August 1910 by 'G Bros', probably Gilmour Brothers of Raglan. Inscriptions: Photographer's title on negative - bottom left - Tuaiwa's monument, Raglan N.Z. 338.; Photographer's title on negative - bottom right - G.
