Description: Photographs of a military parade on Lambton Quay as part of the visit by the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall and York consisting of teams of eight horses pulling small carriages on their way to the Battery with spectators lining the street; No.3 Gun Detachment at a military tournament in November 1891 at Hutt Race Course standing with their gun the participants being Sgt Carter, Br Daniels, Gunners Brown, Petrie, Curtis, Bott, Renwick, Raynor, and Quilice(?); No.1 (Gun Detachment?) with their gun, standing next to a tent in Miramar in 1898 the participants being Gibson, Coombes, Coleman, Pettiecuck(?), Lyon, Boyes, Fraser, Feeney, Hill, Brown, Spence, Courtney, and Truman; and a large group of men possibly of D battery of Wellington militia holding poles with paddles at the end with circles painted on them (markers).
