Description: View of the memorial fountain and statue of Sir John Logan Campbell at the Manukau Road entrance to Cornwall Park. The statue depicts Sir John in mayoral robes, holding the Deed of Gift. A wreath can be seen laid at the base of the statue. Photograph taken by William A Price, possibly on the death or anniverary of the death of Sir John Logan Campbell, who died in Jun 1912. Inscriptions: Photographer's title on negative - bottom left - Cornwall Park. Auckland. 735 The fountain and statue were erected at the Manukau Road entrance to Cornwall Park by public subscription in appreciation of the donor's generosity.
