Description: Elevation to Jervois Quay and ground and first floor plans for the Wellington Rowing Club's building, Jervois Quay. The building was originally located on Jervois Quay. In the 1960s, it was used by Downstage Theatre Company before the construction of the Hannah Playhouse, corner Cambridge Terrace and Courtenay Place. Description: Shows a homestead and shed, seen across a flat lawn and entrance driveway. The buildings are surrounded with plantings of trees, including a poplar in the left background. There is a tree stump in the left foreground. The New Zealand gazetteer lists two homesteads called "Viewfield". Description: St Patrick's Church, Palmerston North, with scaffolding around the front and the tower. Photograph taken by unidentified photographer ca. 1930s. Where the scaffolding is cracks were being checked and repaired, and the St Patrick's statue was being cleaned. The pigeons were a bit of a problem The photo was taken about 16 or 17 years before the new presbytery was built. The old one was behind the church - Information on back of file print. The architect for this building was Frederick de Jersey Clere, and the building was started in 1923. Quantity: 1 b&w original negative(s).
