Description: The papers consist of: Application form and supporting land deeds submitted by George Alfred Jupp; extracts from the diary of George Jupp relating to the acquisition and settlement of the Tikorangi farm; photographs of the family and homestead; cadastral map. Original owner was George Jupp who purchased 100 acres at Tikorangi in 1866. The farm was owned by his great-grandson, George Alfred Jupp in 2007. In 2007 the property was awarded the New Zealand Century Farm and Station award to mark over 100 years of continuous ownership by one family.
