See MS-Papers-9389-31 for published summary & photographs. The original family member to acquire the land was George Jennings who purchased 78 hectares at Otara by deferred payment in 1882. He freeholded the farm in 1895. In 2008 the property was owned by his great grandson Trevor Jennings and his wife Ngaire.
