Description: A pamphlet protesting timber control policies in the Wanganui area. Inside shows the British "Erith" progressive type kiln in Wanganui, "one of the largest and most effective timber seasoning kilns in the Dominion". It had been kept idle for years, despite its usefulness in aiding repatriation after the first world war. Quantity: 1 b&w photo-mechanical print(s). Description: Advertises a fair to be held in the Drill Hall, which was to be set out like an old Chelsea Bunhouse. The central announcement on the front page is surrounded by many small business advertisements. Borders surround the centre and the outer edge. The inner pages advertise a Punch & Judy show by Professor Allen. Also performing or contributing were many stall keepers and clowns Lazelle and Johnson, wire-walker Monsieur Vernon, scenic artists T E Merritt and Peake, musical conductor Mr King. There is an article about Chelsea Buns, and further advertisements on the back page.
