Description: [Karaana ?] or Caroline, sister of Victoria, Queen of the Nukumaru, standing alongside two rifles, circa 1860s. She wears a long dress, belted with a large wrap and bandanna type headress. She holds a long handled axe under her right arm. Photograph taken ca 1860s by Benjamin Peyman.
