Description: View of the township looking down the main road with a church and school on the lefthandside. The Puhoi Hotel is obscured by macrocarpa trees in the middle distance to the left. On the righthandside of the road in the foreground is a house with an extensive vegetable graden, the Puhoi Hall and the Puhoi River with a boat moored at the jetty. Photograph taken 1900-1923 by William Archer Price. Giselle Lenoir has written that this image would have been taken prior to 1924.
