Description: A small settlement on the left with houses and a church, several Maori seated in the left foreground. Hills behind, trees on the water's edge. The Kaiti Harbour with a jetty, yachts and a wharf building and distant hill on the right. Mounted with A. H. McLintock's ink drawing of An impression of devastation caused by erosion in Hawke's Bay, 1939 (C-053-012) Probably drawn from Mary Blair (nee Naismith's) memory.
