Description: The papers consist of: Application form submitted by Robyn Vicki Lawrence on behalf of her brother Murray Tapper; History of the Tappers of Okauia compiled by Vicki Lawrence, 2009; Early history of Okauia, compiled by Mrs H Baxindine Snr, Mrs Annie Marsh, George Harrison, jack jones, Arthur Garland, Mar 1982 Original owner was Caleb Robinson Tapper who leased the land in 1908. It was acquired by Jack Victor Tapper in 1919. In 2008 it was owned by his grandson Murray Wayne Tapper and wife Gillian. In June 2008 the Tapper farm was sold to Murray & Nikki Hawkings ending over 100 years of continuous ownership by one family.
