The church buildings include the Chapel in Leith Street, the Chapel in Great King Street, and the Baptist Chapel. Description: The main subject areas include ships, birds (especially sea birds), trees, native forest, places in the form of pastoral landscapes, coastal views, towns and historical buildings. There are sequences of Maori and Pakeha doing crafts, mainly weaving and dying. One sequence of Maori weaving records the process from the cutting and preparation of the flax to the finished product. There are also family portraits and groups, and photographs of friends. A number of photographs were taken to build up a resource of natural textures and patterns such as driftwood, river boulders, and clouds. The subject range of the collection can be accessed through George Bull's card index. The original envelope sequence numbers relating to this can be followed in the negative registers.
