Description: Programme booklet for a dance recital contains photographs of King Albert in military uniform, and a group of (probably Belgian) children standing in fur coats. The programme lists tableaux and dances. Tableaux include "Belgium" (Mona Mackay), "The Allies" (with women representing England (Miss M Miller), France (Miss Woodham), Russia (Miss Lewis), Servia (Miss E Miller), Japan (Miss Hipkins), and Belgium (Miss Mona Mackay). The dance pupils are all listed with the items they performed. Other variety perfomers were Mr J W Ryan, Mr Alan McElwain, Mr F G Bourke. The programme contains advertisements for many Auckland businesses. There is also a cartoon "Bravo! Description: Portraits of four Maori in two groups. Te Heuheu and Iwikau are on the left, with the palisades of their pa, Te Rapa, at Taupo behind them. Description: A panoramic view from Flagstaff Hill (Maiki Hill), above Russell, showing the Bay of Islands. The houses of Russell (Kororareka) lie below to the left, with a house on a nearby hill in the foreground; Paihia mission station and houses are visible in the distance across the water left of centre. 'Waitangi. Mr Busby's house where treaty was signed' is noted and can be seen immediately left of centre. 'Keri Keri' (Kerikeri) is noted right of centre, across the water, with a few houses visible. Moturoa Island is next on the right, followed by Black Rocks and, on the far right, Ninepin Rock. There is currently no feature in the Bay of Islands called Nine Pin (or Ninepin) Rock. Exhibited in 'Treasures in Trust' exhibition to celebrate 75th anniversary of the Alexander Turnbull Library in 1995.
