Description: View looking down Church Street towards Main Street (Elliot Street). In the foreground on the right is Harvey's (fruiter & confectioner). On the lefthandside of the street are various shops including a car hire firm, land agent and butcher. The Post Office building is further down on the left. The Masonic Hotel (with brick facade) can be seen in the far distance on the corner of Church Street and Main Street. Several cars are parked in the street.Photograph taken by W J Newell ca 1920s.
