Description: Drawn on a cadastral base map of the Lower Hutt industrial area, bounded by the Waiwhetu River, the Hutt River and the roads Bell, Park, Seaview and Gracefield, the annotations show sections sold (in red) and sections open for selection (in green). The sections are numbered with acreages, and the railway line runs through the area. Areas sold include the names Schweppes Ltd., ESW Paul, Wm Cable & Co., Wellington Concrete Pipe Coy., Ford Motor Co., Hume Pipe Coy., Vacuum Oil Coy., Texas Oil Coy., CH Morley, WA Cairns. Railway workshops, drainage easements, sewers, septic tanks, pumping stations, a quarry and watermains are marked. Areas open for selection are unnamed.
