Description: Shows drivers and nine cars of Wanganui Automobile Club lined up outside J Smith's Commercial Hotel, Waverley. On left of frame is the sign for 'Linklaters Commercial Stables'. Taken on 30 March 1911. Photograph taken by either Frank J Denton, Mark Lampe, or possibly another photographer from the Tesla Studios. Note on back of file print reads "On neg 1725. (May not be Tesla or Denton - ink in corner) Source of descriptive information - location indetified by Library client Wanganui Automobile Club held a run to Waverley on 30 March 1911 where the proprietor of the Commercial Hotel J Smith provided afternoon tea (see Wanganui Chronicle 31 March 1911).
