Description: Shows New Zealand soldier sitting on the ground resting on a milestone which reads: "France to New Zealand 13,000 miles". Behind him at the right is a bombed building, but he contemplates the central panel wherein the smoke of his pipe has formed the word "AOTEAROA" combined with a map of New Zealand.
