Description: Central panel shows a map of the Miramar Peninsula with Taputerangi Pa, Oruaiti Pa, Te Akautangi Pa, Kakariki Pa, Maupuia Pa, Matakikaipoinga Pa, and the kainga of Te Mahanga and Kau-Whakaara-Waru. Also shown are the sites where various implements have been discovered: adzes, mere, earrings, weapons, chisels, knives, and moa remains. Around the edge are illustrations of Oruaiti Pa, Tami Parata, a moa, a food store, a large hangi (oven), and a portrait of Hana Maaka, a descendant of Whataitai rangitira.
