Taken from a vantage point on a grassy slope near the foreshore of Hall's Beach and looking across Little Shoal Bay. Cabbage trees and a pohutukawa are in the immediate foreground and people can be seen walking on the tidal flats in the distance. A ferry is approaching the wharf and another vessel can be seen in the distance heading towards Auckland. Taken ca 1908 by William Archer Price of Auckland.
