Description: Invitation shows four vignettes (of Wellington Harbour, Lyttelton Harbour, Auckland Harbour, and Port Chalmers Harbour), inset portraits of Their Majesties, and figures of a European soldier and a Maori chief. The British crest is at top centre. Two copies of this work at this reference number. Each differs slightly, one having been printed with slightly larger, heavier dots of colour, giving a darker overall effect (easily studied through a strong magnifying glass). Exhibited in 'Petone Days; Photographs by Percy Godber 1900-1920 (Exhibition)' Other Titles - His Majesty's Ministers for New Zealand request the honor of the presence of [Mr and Mrs G N Goldie] to witness the ceremony...by Their Royal Highnesses.
