Description: A view taken from a vantage point on the Western Hills (possibly in vicinity of Normandale) overlooking Petone showing dwellings and other buildings. In the immediate foreground on left of frame is Hector Street. Hutt Road runs across the centre of the frame. Off Hutt Road on the right of frame is Hector's Lane beside a vacant lot or garden. Taken by William A Price in early 1900s.
