Description: View of soldiers of the 2nd Contingent, Auckland Territorials marching down Queen Street toward the Queen Street Railway Station entrance on their departure for the Front. Crowds of people have gathered outside the General Post Office to watch. Two tram cars can be seen amongst the crowd. Taken by William A Price on 10 August 1914. On the corner of the road leading up to the top of Mount Eden there is a tram stop with people waiting for the tram to arrive. The tram is just visible on the righthand side.
